Minnehaha Falls is a great park. There’s always a lot of people looking at the falls, renting silly people powered wheeled vehicles and consuming the delicious eats from Sea Salt. It’s easy to forget that the paths leading off into the woods take you places worth visiting, like the point where the Minnehaha Creek joins the Mississippi, its amazing to see all the water from our watershed rush into the river, growing it just a little bit more.
The marshy areas of the path has new boardwalks, which is nice. The old ones were really slippery. Its a nice urban hike if you’re in the mood for one. Not a place for strollers, bicycles or wheelchairs.
